Additional Requirements

• Sound knowledge of the total garment manufacturing process from sample development to shipments deliveries.

• Ability to work in multicultural environment.

• Posses Excellent Leadership capability to lead the garments in all aspects.

• Minimum 5 years related experience in similar position in reputed woven garments.

• Understanding of quality requirements of leading buyers with knowledge on all testing methods, fabric inspection & quality management systems.

• In-depth knowledge of grey knitting, dyeing & finishing.

• Strong writing and verbal communication skill in English.

• Have conversant to dealing any foreign buyers and managing them competently.

• The candidate should have the capacity to source new buyers & maintain effective liaison with existing/new buyers in connection with taking profitable orders & meeting export target.

• Should have proven Leadership & coordination skills.

• Should be self-motivated, sincere and have excellent negotiation skills.

• Should be fluent in English correspondences both in written & oral forms and well conversant with computer applications.

Responsibilities & Context

• The candidate will be solely responsible for managing all the activities related to order taking, merchandising & timely shipment of export oriented oven garment products effectively & efficiently.

• Managing the entire manufacturing plant to the entire satisfaction of all internal and external customers.

• Develop new direct buyers and build the long lasting strong relationship with them.

• He will have to lead a team of Marketing & Merchandising professionals & execute the taken orders very professionally.

• Monitor and follow up on capacity assessment, production plan & achieving the same within time & cost parameters.

• Acknowledgement of the order quantity in advance for making production plan and to liaise with the Management and to give necessary directives to the Production Manager of the factory regarding the production plan.

• To give necessary directives to Production/Sample team to make a sample of a particular buyer in order to get the approval of mass production.

• To keep close eyes in order to attain acceptable production limit and to ensure about the implementation of the production schedule. If production manager fails to achieve the target, then reason is to be found out from production manager and he is to be guided for more production.

• To implement cost control policy in every stage of production so that production cost is reduced.

• To make necessary arrangement of training for the subordinates in order to increase the production capability through modern production procedure.

• To take the responsibility during an audit by the buyer regarding compliance issues.

• To take all necessary safety measures in connection with the production and overall premises.

• To ensure the duties and responsibilities of subordinates as vested on them according to the organizational policy.

• To ensure proper planning to assure smooth operation within the team Arrangement of briefing, training, coordinating, controlling and taking timely decision.

• To take an active role while formulating the policy of the factory.
