Responsibilities & Context

The role of Head of Operations in a building materials industry in Bangladesh typically encompasses a wide range of responsibilities. These may include operational oversight, resource management, compliance, and driving efficiency across production and distribution processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for routine business operations of Office & Factory including sales and marketing, customer service and coordination.
• Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
• Demonstrate and promote a culture of creative thinking, innovation, and embracing change for growth and relevance.
• Working with management and other heads of the company.
• Provide leadership, Manage and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement develop a high performing managerial team
• Prepare and present an annual operational plan and a budget.
• Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
• Provide sound, clear and timely information and advice to the Board based on professional knowledge and understanding of the field.
• Ensure effective management of resources including recruitment, supervision, and development of policies, systems, and the staff to support them.
• Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets of Building materials industry.
