Requirements

Education

Bachelors in any discipline
However, BSc in Chemical Engineering or Bachelors in Supply Chain will get preferences

Experience

At least 14 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

Age At least 35 years

Exposure to wash chemicals and general items procurement in the Textiles/apparel manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of chemical sourcing, supplier development, commercial negotiation, and procurement planning.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities & Context

Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management to achieve cost efficiency and quality standards.

Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply of materials to support manufacturing operations.

Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.

Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives.

Prepare procurement budgets, reports, and performance analyses for management review.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, inventory optimization, and supplier management.
