Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Research & Innovation for our Home Appliances product. This leader will spearhead the development and implementation of innovative technologies and products, driving the future of our home appliance offerings. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep industry expertise, a proven track record of successful innovation, and the ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead the research and innovation strategy for the Home Appliances product, aligning with the company’s vision and long-term goals.
- Identify and assess emerging trends, technologies, and market demands to drive product innovation and R&D efforts.
- Oversee all R&D activities, from conceptualization to commercialization, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and market needs.
- Supervise all kind of product Design, Investment, Costing, Mold & Die, Supplier handling, Certification, RM Order, PSI, Mass production, sample testing & analysis.
- Ensure the minimum wastage and BOM Cost and ensure maximum support from Production Management, Process Development, Quality Management and SCM.
- Monitoring the quality of running products and set standards to improve it further.
- Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking.
