Job Context:

Hakkani Pulp and Paper Mills Ltd (HPPML) is one of the Pioneer, Leader of paper and tissue manufacturing company in Bangladesh. We are seeking for dynamic, experienced and well qualified Head of Sales and Marketing (HOSM) to take charge of all marketing initiatives, including social media, digital campaigns, advertising, and creative projects. As the Head of Marketing, he will be responsible for creating strategic plans to establish and enhance our brand presence, allocating resources to different projects, and setting both short-term and long-term goals for the company. In this role, he will lead our Marketing department to maximize profitability and enhance competitiveness in the market. Job Responsibilities and Context

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve national sales targets and profitability.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to refine sales approaches.

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.

  • Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.

  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets for the company’s products.

  • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company’s market share.

  • Oversee the day-to-day sales operations, ensuring efficient and effective execution of sales plans.

  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs, prepare sales reports, and present findings to senior management.

  • Prepare and manage the sales department’s budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

  • Work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

  • Conduct sales forecasting and planning to ensure the availability of products in alignment with market demand.

  • Analyze sales data and trends to predict future sales and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, performance analyses, and market feedback to senior management.

  • Stay updated with industry developments, emerging trends, and technological advancements.

  • Implement innovative sales techniques and tools to improve sales performance and efficiency.
