Responsibilities & Context

The Head of Security at Soorty Textiles BD is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of security operations, ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, assets, and facilities. This role involves developing security policies, overseeing surveillance systems, coordinating with law enforcement, and implementing risk mitigation strategies to uphold a secure working environment. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, crisis management, and investigative skills to prevent and respond effectively to security threats.

• Design and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular risk security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend corrective measures.
• Oversee CCTV, biometric systems, and security personnel to monitor and regulate access to facilities.
• Develop and execute emergency response plans for incidents such as theft, fire, and unauthorized access.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, labor regulations, and industry-specific security standards.
• Liaise with police, regulatory bodies, and emergency services for security-related matters.
• Recruit, train, and oversee security staff, ensuring efficiency and discipline.
• Conduct investigations on security breaches, prepare reports, and implement preventive measures.
• Work with IT teams to enhance cybersecurity measures against digital threats.
• Manage the security budget, procure necessary equipment, and ensure optimal resource utilization.
