Responsibilities & Context
- Closely collaborate with Compliance, Sourcing and Merchandising teams in guiding them to achieve company’s sustainability goal.
- Develop organizational sustainability strategy in line with stakeholders.
- Provide necessary guidance and support to monitor and measure progress against all sustainability strategies, objectives and performance targets.
- Accountable to achieve sustainability targets of material sourcing including energy, water, waste, chemicals achieve this by working with key stakeholders (suppliers & buyers).
- Analyze sustainability data collected by compliance, sourcing & merchandising teams and prepare in compliance with GRI standard.
- Analyzing and monitoring sustainable areas like natural resource usage and recycling, educating people on the importance of sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure buyer compliance requirements are met through a systematic approach to improve performance.
- Develop innovative approaches to organizational sustainability challenges.
- Manage all external stakeholder facing communication on sustainability.
- Provide educational and training support to all internal teams on industry relevant sustainability topics, such as sustainable materials, sustainable innovations and circular design etc.
- Any other task as assigned by management.
