• Expertise in survey software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Hydropro, Hypack, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work in various environments, including field and office settings.
• Flexibility to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Surveyor to lead our surveying team in conducting comprehensive hydrographic, bathymetric, topographic, and engineering surveys. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and precision of survey data that informs our project decisions and meets client and project requirements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong technical background, capable of managing complex survey operations and delivering high-quality reports and analyses.

Key Responsibility:

• Conduct internal interim hydrographic, bathymetric, topographic and engineering surveys as required by project schedules.
• Analyze collected data and prepare detailed and accurate survey reports in data using post processing software i.e. Hydropro, Autocad etc.
• Ensure compliance with of client or procuring entity and project requirements during surveys.
• Study and analyze pre and post survey report provided by procuring entity, and cross check with internal survey, and explaining it to procuring entity.
• Supervise and manage a team of surveyors performing daily engineering and hydrographic surveys.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to the survey team.
• Allocate tasks effectively and ensure timely completion of survey assignments.
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all survey equipment, including total stations, echo sounders, GPS systems, and other related tools.
• Coordinate with suppliers or technicians for repairs and upgrades when necessary.
• Present findings in reports, charts, and visual formats for internal and external surveys.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports on survey activities, equipment status, and project progress.
