“Asiya Bari Ideal School” (ABIS) is looking for a dynamic administrative professional for the position of “Headmaster” for their IT-enabled school. “Asiya Bari Ideal School” (ABIS) (http://asiyabarischool.edu.bd/) is run with academic and technical assistance from bdeducation (www.bdeducation.org.bd). The school has state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities at Mothkhola, Pakundia, Kishoreganj. This Bangla version is an English-intensive school that follows the NCTB curriculum with fully digitalized content.
Responsibilities:
The role of a School Headmaster is multifaceted and crucial in creating a positive learning environment, managing school operations, and fostering the overall development of students and staff. Headmasters are educational leaders who play a pivotal role in shaping the school’s vision, culture, and effectiveness. Here’s a comprehensive job description for a school principal:
1. Educational leadership:
- Develop and articulate a clear and compelling vision for the school’s academic and co-curricular programs.
- Set academic standards and goals in alignment with educational standards and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in teaching and learning.
2. Administration and Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the school, including managing budgets, facilities, and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and policies.
- Implement and enforce school policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
- Take care of Hostel Administration through concerned persons
3. Staff Management and Development:
- Recruit, hire, and onboard qualified teachers, administrators, and support staff.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer feedback to staff members.
