Job Context:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Health Counselor to efficiently provide comprehensive health counseling services to the students, faculties, and staff. Responsibilities include providing emergency health care, conducting routine health assessments, offering health education, and promoting wellness. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a healthy campus environment and adept at handling diverse medical situations with professionalism and empathy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure and provide day-to-day functions of medical support including assessment, treatment, follow-up, and one-on-one counseling sessions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including daily treatment logs, medication inventory, and related documentation.
- Manage emergency medical situations and coordinate with external healthcare providers as and when necessary.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and stabilization.
- Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics through consultations.
- Collaborate with university departments to promote health initiatives and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of university health policies and procedures.
