Additional Requirements

Conduct engineering surveys for the selected road.
Assess the work activities for which labor-based construction methods are appropriate and for those sections for which heavy machinery is appropriate , establish a cost estimate for the rehabilitation and construction works for roads & bridges.
Arrange necessary equipment, and keeping construction project costs at or, if possible, under budget.
Highway Engineer is responsible for the projects from beginning to end.
Make any necessary changes to the design drawings as per the site conditions.
Supervise contractors on site, ensuring that the works meet the highest standards.
Review the contractor’s work programmers, resource, schedule and project implementation plans and ensure that the contractors/site supervisors comply with their work plans and complete the work within the specified time frame.
Lead the planning, design, and execution of highway construction and maintenance projects.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, contractors, and project managers.
Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues promptly.
Prepare technical reports and project documentationAny other job as per management’s requirement.
