Responsibilities & Context
Core Purpose of the Job
Study electrical appliance schematics, oversee the installation, connection, and operation of electrical appliances, and perform insulation, short circuit, continuity, and grounding tests. Additionally, conduct necessary repairs on electrical appliance components.
Areas of Responsibility (AOR) / Duties
- Oversee the installation, connection, operation, grounding, and protection of electrical appliances.
- Study electrical appliance schematics, such as washing machines, refrigerators, and blenders, and analyze their specifications, operating characteristics, and maintenance requirements.
- Oversee the disassembly, assembly, and repair of electrical appliance components, including motors, switches, and protection devices.
- Perform insulation, short circuit, continuity, and grounding tests, and diagnose electrical faults such as motor failures and wiring issues.
- Adjust operational switches, regulators, timers, and protection devices for electrical appliances.
