Responsibilities & Context
Overview: Amal Foundation, a leading non-profit organization, focuses on education, emergency response, health, and women’s empowerment. Since 2014, we have worked on numerous projects, including supporting displaced communities on remote riverine islands in the North, facilitating a community health center, building schools, supporting Rohingya refugees with food, clothing, and shelter, and creating a women’s skills and training center. Now, we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled HR and Administrative Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in attracting and retaining top talent, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment, and providing exceptional administrative support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with NGO Bureau and other regulatory requirements.
- Process monthly operational activities, payroll, manage attendance and leave databases, and prepare reports.
- Implement training and development and conduct performance management programs to address and meet employee needs and eligibility.
- Provide general administrative support to the organization as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes, record minutes and handling correspondence and coordinate the director’s calendar, etc.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to HR and administration.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
