- At least 2-3 years of progressive and relevant work experience in the field of HR and administration.

- Ability to network and work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and demonstrate cultural sensitivity.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently in a high-stress environment.
- Excellent computer literacy in Google Workspace applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

JOB CONTEXT:
Truvalu is currently looking for an HR & Admin Officer to be a part of its core human resources and administration team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources (HR)
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Lead efforts to attract and identify a diverse pool of talent with the required skills, experience, and cultural fit through various channels, such as job boards, professional networks, and partnerships with hiring agencies.
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Ensure all recruitment-related documentation is properly maintained and organized, including resumes, application forms, interview notes, reference checks, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaborate closely with different departments to understand recruitment needs and develop recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Contribute to HR planning and formulating HR policies in compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to effect changes in policy, practice, and resources.
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with prevailing employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource activities including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Design and implement employee retention strategies.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the organization’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Promote Truvalu as an employer of choice by effectively communicating the organisation’s mission, values, and positive work culture.
- Managing other day-to-day HR operations smoothly in accordance with the Company’s policies and relevant laws and regulations.
Administration
- Managing the end-to-end administrative, logistics, and procurement affairs of the Company.
- Providing administrative and logistic support to different projects and departments for smooth implementation of operations.
- Responsible for the overall administrative management of the office.
- Managing logistics and coordinating travel arrangements for employees.
- Managing other day-to-day administrative operations smoothly.

LOCATION: Based in Dhaka, however, travel outside of Dhaka may be required.
