Requirements

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM or a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Human Resource Management, combined with substantial relevant experience, will also be considered. (HR academic background is mandatory).

Experience

  • At least 8 years

Additional Requirements

  • Age at least 35 years
  • Master’s degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in HRM or a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Human Resource Management, combined with substantial relevant experience, will also be considered. (HR academic background is mandatory).
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in the hospital or service industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), experience with HRIS/HRM software, and strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Proven success in leading digital HR initiatives, including integrating systems like ERP, HR analytics, and digital learning platforms. Must have a strong understanding of HR technology and a track record of using automation, cloud solutions, and data to improve HR processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational development skills, with a track record of successfully implementing HR initiatives.
  • Visionary and strategic thinker with a strong sense of professional ethics and commitment to fostering a positive corporate culture.

Responsibilities & Context

About Us:

CD Path & Hospital Pvt. Ltd. is a rapidly growing multi-specialty heathcare institution in Cumilla. With 300+ employees and expanding services. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Manager to lead our HR and Administration department and oversee all aspects of human resources and general office administration.

This is a foundational role, ideal for someone who is passionate about establishing and managing HR operations in a growing hospital setting. The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, managing the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Partner with senior leadership to influence business decisions from an HR perspective.
  • Advise on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.

HR Management:

  • Independently lead the HR and Administration department, overseeing 300+ staff across all units.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance monitoring, and employee KPIs.
  • Implement and manage HRM software and biometric/face-scan attendance systems.

Policy and Procedure Development:

  • Create and implement HR policies, SOPs, and departmental handbooks.
  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law and maintain legal documentation.

Recruitment & Talent Management:

  • Oversee the recruitment process to meet staffing needs, ensuring timely hiring of qualified employees.
  • Source and onboard skilled professionals across all departments, including doctors, nurses, diagnostics, and non-clinical support roles. Build a pipeline of qualified candidates and manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
  • Lead onboarding, induction, and training programs for new hires.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Promote a positive work environment that supports employee engagement and productivity.
  • Address grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and professional manner.
  • Design and implement employee recognition programs.

Compliance & Labor Law:

  • Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure proper documentation for audits and inspections.
  • Liaise with relevant government agencies and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and training for staff.
  • Promote ethical behavior, a culture of accountability, and adherence to company values.

Compensation & Benefits:

Administration:

  • Oversee general administration, facility management, and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Ensure office policies and procedures are implemented effectively.

HR Analytics & Reporting:

  • Utilize HR metrics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnover, retention, and productivity.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Generate monthly HR and staffing reports.
  • Liaise with doctors, department heads, and senior leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Handle email communication with collaborators and other associates of the organization.
  • Submit weekly HR activity reports directly to senior leadership. Act as the central HR contact for ICU, NICU, Dialysis, Pathology, Admin, and other units.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily attendance records, update duty rosters, track leave, overtime, and ensure accurate coordination with accounts for salary processing.
  • Monitor punctuality, dress code, and behavior across departments. Issue verbal and written warnings when necessary in consultation with admin.
  • Maintain a structured HR filing system: digital and physical, including employee profiles, joining letters, contracts, ID card records, resignation letters, and warning memos.
  • Assist in organizing weekly training sessions, maintain attendance logs, and collaborate with department heads on staff development plans.
  • Promote respectful communication, clean uniform practices, structured shift handovers, and SOP-based operations to establish a corporate-style hospital culture.
  • Any other tasks assigned by management.
