Responsibilities & Context
- To prepare operation breakdown, machine layout, arrange machines for the layout with the help of Manager.
- Preparing Non-Balancing & Balancing graphs of the line by checking cycle times of each operator & helper.
- To do time studies, production & capacity studies
- Monitoring hourly production.
- To do operator grading (According to company grading policies)
- Maintaining skill inventories of each line.
- Recording non-productive time (NPT) & taking action to reduce NPT.
- Method development & implementation.
- Reducing Non Value added processes.
- Cooperation & Coordination with Production Manager & Unit Chief.
