• Diploma in Textile Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Eng & Production

• Candidate should have sound knowledge on fabric nature and consumption, pattern, marker & CAD;

Responsibilities & Context

Ensure Cutting production quality by reviewing buyer guidelines, SOP & flow-chart, placement of team members, guiding on work processes & critical points, close monitoring on execution stages, collecting defect reports, taking corrective actions, motivating QA & production persons toward Quality at Source and leading the Cutting Quality Assurance team.

• Inspect fabric rolls for defects and verify marker placement to ensure correct fabric usage and alignment.
• Perform random inspections of cut panels for measurement accuracy, symmetry, and adherence to specifications.
• Monitor fabric spreading for correct tension, alignment, and shade segregation.
• Ensure pre-cutting checks, including fabric shrinkage and marker approval, are completed before bulk cutting.
• Identify and segregate defective panels, ensuring proper documentation and root cause analysis.
• Oversee proper bundling, numbering, and ticketing of cut panels for accurate assembly.
• Maintain cutting quality records and submit daily rejection and inspection reports to the QA Manager.
• Collaborate with teams to improve cutting accuracy and reduce defects.
• Cut panel accuracy %, Fabric utilization %, Cut panel rejection %, Shade segregation adherence.
• Participation in cutting room audits, 5S implementation, or Kaizen activities for waste reduction.
• Involvement in pre-production risk analysis related to fabric handling or lay plans.
