Cloud Computing:

Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is usually required.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, working with infrastructure systems, networks, and data centers.
Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including clients and team members, is essential.
Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively is critical for this role.

Responsibilities & Context

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the institute’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
Ensure that infrastructure systems are secure, stable, and meet performance requirements.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, resolve incidents, and manage backups and disaster recovery plans.
Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring that the institute receives quality services at a competitive price.
Collaborate with other departments to determine infrastructure requirements and plan for future infrastructure needs.
Plan and execute infrastructure projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring that the institute’s infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulations.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating new solutions and recommending upgrades to improve the institute’s infrastructure.
Manage the infrastructure team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
