Teaching experiences in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry will be given preference.

Others:

Proficient in MS Office package.
Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla.
Skills on online platforms and develop digital content.
Track record in working with curriculum and learning materials development.
NTRCA certification would be an added advantage.
Good track record in performance appraisal.
Age limit for the applicant would be 35 years. Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.

Responsibilities & Context

Nature of Job: Project Staff.

Job Purpose: To teach and educate students following the EDUCIB curriculum (an abridged curriculum of NCTB, BTEB and NTVQF) under the overall guidance of the competent education authority in line with UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission, goals and relevant country laws.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Ensure enrollment target (Including 50% girls, 5% PWDs, 3% Ethnic groups), regular attendance (90%) and assist Centre in-charge or Team Leader-Training and Education for teaching learning process.
Ensure of effective classroom teaching following syllabus and lesson plan.§ Ensure the targeted pass rate (100% with 20% GPA 5) of respective subjects, result analysis of each exam, written action plan for the weaker students and ensured its implementation.
Ensure teaching learning environment in classroom (cleanness, special attention to slow learners, use of appropriate teaching aids includes digital content).
Provide psychosocial counseling to students (at least 90% students) to reduce mental stress so that they cope up with this emergency.
Communicate with parents (at least 70%) for ensuring awareness on safeguarding, preventing child labor, child marriage and different kinds of abuses.
Developing different event plan (at least 5 events/year) for the celebration of different days and ensured its implementation including ensuring students participation in virtual and physical.
Planning and organizing special education model (for all classes and all students) and play a key role for providing guidance to implement this model.
Contribute to developed school operational plan and ensure its implementation.
Maintain and store the classroom equipment, furniture, materials, and supplies properly.
To carry out any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor as and when necessary.

Compensation & Other Benefits

Monthly Salary:

Monthly Consolidated BDT. 22,000/- (Twenty-Two Thousand Only).

Income Tax or any other statutory deductions will be as per government rules and UCEP policies.
