Responsibilities & Context

Financial System Management:

  • Manage MS Dynamics preliminary information to ensure data is up to date and accurate.
  • Ensure financial documents (i.e. files, banking papers, MS Dynamics preliminary e-files, emails, and couriers) are stored and managed in a timely and secure manner that protects financial information.
  • Prepare primary journal entries for all transactions conducted at the country office.
  • Assist in managing the petty cash for the country office.
  • Assist with settling program cash advances and ensure timely reconciliation and recovery as needed.

Regular Banking and Financial Institutional Relationship Management:

  • Assist in writing checks for all bills submitted in the country office.
  • Assist in fund transfer and withdrawal of funds from banks in Dhaka.
  • Assist in managing all banking activities by ensuring accurate bank account records are maintained and bank statements are obtained on time.
  • Maintain the remittances received documents from the global office.
  • Prepare additional financial reports as needed, ensuring timely submission.

Provident Fund Management:

  • Assist in managing PF documentation.
  • Assist in managing the PF Loan and 80% withdrawal process; and assist in processing Benevolent Fund payments.

Personal Growth, Development, and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage individual goals to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Manage and maintain all FH policies and procedures and live out the organization’s values.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Promote the prevention of sexual misconduct, sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment, trafficking, shaming, bullying, or any type of harm among communities, program participants, team members, and partners.
  • Facilitate Safeguarding messaging with communities, program participants, team members, and partners to raise awareness and promote the reporting of safeguarding issues through Community System for Accountability and Feedback (C-SAFE) and EthicsPoint.
  • Act as a reporting avenue for safeguarding issues, and facilitate relevant resources (safety, security, well-being) to survivors in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.
