Additional Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in writing and managing a variety of corporate communications channels, including corporate intranets and internal social media channels in similar roles in Commercial organization/ FMCG/ MNC/ Local Conglomerate.
  • Write and tailor content for specific audiences and demonstrate a deep understanding of messaging, positioning and stakeholder needs.
  • Interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Deep familiarity with communication tools and platforms.
  • Good public speaking and presenting skills.
  • Digital Proficiency (SEO) and Social Media Savvy.

Responsibilities & Context

Internal Communication Manager will be operating within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, reporting directly to the Deputy Managing Director of SGMH. This role at the Corporate Head office presents significant intellectual challenges and a complex work context. The incumbent will navigate a multifaceted organizational structure, aligning communication plans with diverse operational priorities and production schedules. Engaging a wide range of stakeholders, from factory floor workers to top management, and fostering a culture of open communication across different locations is essential. Additionally, the role requires leveraging digital tools to ensure effective information dissemination and continually measuring the impact of communication efforts to demonstrate value and secure support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic internal and executive communications plan that aligns internal messaging with the company’s vision, mission, and culture.
  • Oversee the company intranet, newsletter, and other communication platforms, ensuring their continuous development, upgrading, and maintenance.
  • Organize and facilitate employee engagement activities, company meetings, workshops, and surveys to foster a connected and motivated workforce.
  • Develop and execute crisis communication plans, providing timely updates and instructions to employees during challenging situations.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to measure the success of internal communications initiatives.
  • Evaluate the impact of internal communications on business objectives and employee engagement.
  • Implement systems and technologies that enhance team collaboration and engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with the DMD of SGMH to analyze feedback and develop or update plans accordingly.
