We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Inventory Executive to join our team, ensuring the seamless and efficient management of our inventory processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records by meticulously tracking stock levels, orders, deliveries, and returns.
- Stock Audits: Conduct regular physical stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Order Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, placing orders in a timely manner to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Inventory Reporting: Generate comprehensive inventory reports, offering insights into stock levels, turnover rates, and inventory valuations to support informed decision-making.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory items, negotiating terms as necessary.
- Inventory Optimization: Implement and enhance inventory control procedures and best practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
Warehouse Operations:
- Stock Organization: Ensure the proper organization and labeling of inventory in the warehouse, facilitating easy identification and retrieval of items.
- Receiving & Dispatch: Oversee the receiving and dispatch processes to guarantee that inventory is accurately documented upon arrival and departure.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to and enforce safety protocols within the warehouse, ensuring all operations comply with company standards.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the purchasing, sales, and finance teams to align inventory management with business needs and objectives.
- Issue Resolution: Promptly address and resolve any inventory-related issues, including discrepancies, delays, or quality concerns.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Inventory Management Expertise: Proven experience in inventory management, with a deep understanding of inventory control processes.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail for accurate reporting and inventory optimization.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and efficiently resolve discrepancies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs, with the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
Educational Requirements:
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience Requirements:
Experience: At least 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.
