Requirements
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Accounting (CMA/CA partly qualified preferred).
Experience
- At least 2 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Consulting Firms
Additional Requirements
- Age At most 35 years
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts/Finance/Operations (experience in Asset Management will be an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting.
- Sound knowledge of IAS and IFRS, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
Responsibilities & Context
- Prepare financial statements, monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, and various management reports.
- Prepare and submit quarterly reports for BSEC, Trustee, and Custodian as per regulatory requirements.
- Handle daily operations of Mutual Funds including NAV calculation, unit subscription & redemption, and investor reporting.
- Handle demate and remate of mutual fund units through CDBL and maintain proper records.
- Maintain liaison with Custodian, Trustee, and Brokerage houses regarding fund operations.
- Ensure compliance with BSEC, Income Tax, and VAT related rules & regulations.
- Prepare and file monthly Withholding Tax, VAT, and regulatory returns.
- Support annual audit, corporate tax filing, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper record keeping and documentation for accounts and compliance purposes.
- Assist in developing operational processes and automation of reporting.
