Responsibilities & Context
- Ensuring the security and efficiency of the IT infrastructure, including computer systems, networks, equipment, data backup, antivirus protection, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
- Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting and resolving IT-related problems.
- Respond to IT issues quickly, minimizing downtime for employees and production teams.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Ensure that servers, workstations, and other IT systems are properly configured and secure.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and IT security protocols to safeguard data.
- Track and manage IT assets, including computers, network equipment, and production-related technology.
- Implement data backup strategies to prevent data loss in case of hardware failure or cyber incidents.
- Monitor backup systems and ensure that recovery procedures are in place and regularly tested.
- Any other job assigned by Top management.
