Job Description:
The IT System Auditor and Risk Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT audit functions, risk management processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves evaluating IT systems, identifying risks, and implementing strategies to mitigate potential threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT auditing, risk management, and cybersecurity focused, along with relevant professional certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage IT audits to assess the effectiveness of IT controls, security, and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with IT systems, infrastructure, and processes.
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and strategies to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of IT systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Prepare and present audit reports and risk assessments to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging IT risks, cybersecurity threats, and industry trends to proactively address potential vulnerabilities.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on IT risk management and audit best practices.
