Work in the ‘Climate-Adaptive Urban Agriculture for Food Security for the Low-Income Communities in Sirajganj Municipality’ project at field level ensuring smooth implementation in alignment with UDP priorities, objectives and goals; maintain strong communication and networking with the local government agencies for effective engagement in social accountability initiatives.

  • Implementation UDP interventions ‘Climate-Adaptive Urban Agriculture for Food Security for the Low-Income Communities in Sirajganj Municipality’ project at field level as front line staff.
  • Urban agriculture technology identification and feasibility analysis considering local context, providing support for climate resilient urban agriculture and nutrition garden demonstration
  • Providing support for climate resilient urban agriculture, climate resilient livestock farming,
  • Maintain strong communication and networking with local government officials for implementing social accountability initiatives.
  • Establish Linkage between urban producers and supplier (Seed, fertilizers and other inputs) and creating connection between urban producers and local agricultural office.
  • Maintain documentation and prepare monthly MIS report.
  • Organize and conduct vegetable farming and livestock farming training for urban producer group
  • Provide support to the technical department & research, knowledge management & M&E department of UDP in the field for effective urban interventions
  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
