• Self-motivated, adaptable, and a strong team player, collaborating effectively within the department and school.
• Passion for social development work, believing in the positive impact of education on the community.
• Age limit for the applicant would be maximum 30 years. Management has to right to change on basis of Experience.

Responsibilities & Context

Nature of Job: Fixed-Term Contractual Staff (Core Position).

Job Location: A K Khan UCEP Polytechnic Institute (AKKUPI) Kalurghat, Chattogram.

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Electrical Technology Teacher to join our team at AKKUPPI. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality education for our students and fostering their enthusiasm for electrical technology.

Job Purpose: To Impact quality teaching as per curriculum, syllabus and ensure effective use of resources.

Job Responsibilities:

Instruction and Classroom Management;

• Deliver engaging and effective instruction in Electrical Technology, adhering to established academic schedules and curriculum.
• Develop and implement well-structured lesson plans, including comprehensive workshop and laboratory instruction sheets.
• Supervise and monitor student activities and progress in the classroom and laboratory, providing constructive feedback.

Student Support and Development;

• Offer additional support to students struggling with concepts or subject matter, ensuring their understanding and success.

• Encourage and guide students to participate in co-curricular activities, promoting well-rounded development.
• Motivate and counsel students, fostering positive learning habits and ensuring regular attendance.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and address any concerns.

Administrative Duties;

• Assist with student admissions to AKKUPPI, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student profiles and examination records.
• Prepare and manage documents related to BTEB requirements, meeting all institutional obligations.
• Utilize and maintain teaching resources and equipment effectively, maximizing their value in the learning environment.
• Conduct periodic maintenance on teaching equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
• Assist in preparing the departmental budget (if applicable), contributing to efficient resource allocation.

Additional Responsibilities;

• Perform any other duties assigned by the AKKUPPI authority, principal, vice-principal, or departmental head, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
• Maintain complete confidentiality regarding institutional affairs and uphold the dignity of the institution through professionalism and ethical conduct.
