Responsibilities & Context

Green University of Bangladesh is one of the leading universities in the private sector. We are looking for a Junior IT Officer for the Center for IT Services (GCITS) of the university. We encourage individuals who are dedicated to working and building a career in academic administration.

• Provide regular IT support to students, faculty, and administrative staff.
• Perform device servicing and repairs for computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist in the installation and configuration of software and hardware.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure efficient IT operations.
• Provide technical assistance to end-users and resolve IT-related issues.
• Keep records of service requests and maintenance activities.
• Manage and maintain the CCTV surveillance system across the university campus. (CCTV, Intercom, and User Support).
• Oversee the intercom and sound system operations, ensuring they are functioning correctly.
• Provide necessary IT support at the General Computer Lab
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems reported by users.
• Keep records of CCTV footage and system maintenance activities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Point of Sale (POS) machines in the university canteen.
