Requirements
Education
- Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science, Master of Social Science (MSS) in Development Studies, Master of Science (MSc) in Geography and Environment
Masters in Climate Change, Environmental Science, Economics, Disaster Management, Marine Sciences, Development Studies, Geography, or any related discipline.

- Previous experience of reviewing literature for academic write-ups
- Some level of experience in implementing field-based research activities

- Ability to draft/prepare reports and present research findings
- Proficiency in computer applications (e.g. MS Office) and statistical packages (SPSS, STATA, etc.)Proficiency in English language
Responsibilities & Context
Job Purpose:
Junior Research Officer is an entry-level position at CPRD and will be responsible for supporting the research team in implementing field- and desk-based research activities, reviewing literature, and drafting research reports.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)·
- Literature reviewing, data collection, digitization, processing, and analysis·
- Collaborating in report writing
- Assisting in developing data collection tools
- Assisting in organizing study-sharing seminars, advocacy events, capacity-building workshops, training programs, etc.
- Drafting workshops and seminar reports.

Good Knowledge in MS Office and G Suite
