Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Figma
- Basic understanding of Event Driven Programming, Browser APIs, DOM, Asynchronous Programming and PWAs
- Proficient in modern JavaScript features (ES6)
- Ability to code raw HTML/CSS and create responsive websites from design
- Understand the basics in Git, follow best practices in branching and committing
- Being able to create visually appealing user interfaces
We prefer candidates who have:
- Knowledge of UX Patterns and Design Systems
- Understand modern CSS including Grid, Flexbox and Variables
- CSS Preprocessors and CSS Frameworks
- Understanding API development (Next.js / NodeJS / ExpressJS)
- Lighthouse Score, SEO and Meta Tags
- Design tools such as Figma/Framer/Sketch or similar

Job Context
As a Junior UX/UI Designer, you’ll bridge the gap between user needs and visually appealing interfaces. You’ll translate research into designs that are both functional and user-friendly. Expect to collaborate with a team to create wireframes, prototypes, and polished final products.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to translate requirements into mockups/wireframes and views in Figma
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and code elegant user experiences
- Assist with gathering user requirements through research methods like surveys or user interviews.
- Analyze research data to understand user needs and pain points.Translate user insights into initial design concepts and user flows.
- Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize and test design ideas.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to refine designs based on feedback.
- Clearly communicate design ideas and rationale to stakeholders through presentations or mockups.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams (product, engineering) to bring designs to life.
- Contribute to the visual design of interfaces, following design standards and branding guidelines.
- May use design software like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite to create mockups and prototypes.
- Prepare design specifications (e.g., style guides) for developers.
