12+ years (4 Years in similar position)of relevant experience in Apparel Technical, preferably within a reputed buying house or sourcing organization,
Strong experience in woven, knit, denim and/or outerwear products will be an advantage.
Proven experience working with international and renowned brands/buyers is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of international buyer quality standards and inspection procedures.
Excellent knowledge of garment construction, workmanship, Fittings, fabric and finishing quality.
Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple factories, products and quality teams simultaneously.
Applicants must have experience in a Buying House or Foreign Liaison Office.

Responsibilities & Context
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Technical & QA Manager to strengthen our Quality team function
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall Technical & QA function across assigned products and factories.
Ensure products meet buyer requirements, approved samples, specifications, workmanship and quality standards.
Monitor quality performance from pre-production through final inspection and shipment.
Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, production and factory teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Conduct and monitor PPM, inline, mid-line and preparation for final inspections.
Analyze quality problems and implement effective root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with buyer-specific quality manuals, inspection standards and procedures.
Develop and maintain effective quality control systems, SOPs and reporting mechanisms.
Guide, coach and evaluate Technical & QA team members and ensure effective inspection coverage.
Communicate professionally with international buyers and internal management regarding quality issues and improvement plans.
Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical quality issues.
