Responsibilities & Context

  • Supervise daily kitchen and canteen operations to ensure timely and efficient food service.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for kitchen and canteen activities.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Plan, develop, and cost menus in consultation with the chef.
  • Oversee food preparation to ensure high-quality standards and consistency.
  • Control of waste management procedures.
  • Train and supervise kitchen and canteen staff.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders for food, supplies, and equipment as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper storage of perishable and non-perishable items.
  • Ensure that the kitchen and canteen comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
