Additional Requirements
- Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning, preferably within the development sector.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing M&E frameworks, conducting impact assessment and programs development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in writing high-quality reports, case studies, and presentations.
- Knowledge and understanding of environmental and social sustainability standards, including concepts like circular economy, carbon neutrality, etc.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Solidaridad Network Asia is an international network organization dedicated to promoting sustainability and empowerment within the agricultural and industrial sectors of Bangladesh and across Asia. The organization`s core work involves implementing ecosystem-based solutions and responsible practices to address poverty and improve the well-being of farmers and workers.

Knowledge Management and Learning Manager represents a crucial aspect of programme quality and knowledge management within Solidaridad Bangladesh. S/he shall lead the design and implementation of systems that ensure capturing evidence-based impact and innovations, cross-project learning, and thought leadership to feed into strategy and planning for country office programming.
Knowledge Management and Learning Manager will:
- Drive the organization’s knowledge management and learning agenda for organizational strategic planning.
- Generate, curate, and disseminate evidence and insights across country office programming.
- Support program teams in documenting learnings, good practices, and innovations.
- Lead research and innovations, in collaboration with universities, research institutes, and private sector partners.
- Enhance the organization’s positioning as a knowledge leader in sustainability and regenerative practices.
The Knowledge Management and Learning Manager will work under the overall supervision of the Country Manager. This position will be based in Dhaka with frequent field visits to Solidaridad operational areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge Management & Learning
- Develop and implement a knowledge management, impact, and innovation strategies across projects.
- Establish systems for documentation of project outcomes, case studies, and lessons learned.
- Facilitate internal learning forums, workshops, and communities of practice.
- Curate and maintain a digital knowledge repository to support the creation of an organizational culture that prioritizes learning, quality, innovative, and impactful programming.
Research & Evidence Generation
- Lead research and innovations on sustainable agriculture, regenerative practices, circular textile production, and supply chain traceability.
- Design and oversee impact evaluations, baseline/endline studies, and policy briefs.
- Partner with universities, think tanks, and independent researchers for joint studies.
- Ensure research findings are translated into practical tools for field teams, farmers, and supply chain actors.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Integration
- In coordination with the PMEL team, integrate new technologies and digital tools to enhance data collection, analysis, and visualization, embedding technology directly into program workflows for real-time insights.
- Implement value-based PMEL system to measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and programming return on investment (ROI).
- Design and implement strategic assurance model, providing high-level verification and validation of programmatic outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
- Review relevant monitoring and evaluation reports to ensure that technical aspects are well articulated and reports are of acceptable quality.
Communication & Advocacy Support
- Provide knowledge management and communication support across projects for innovations and impact sharing.
- Translate technical findings into knowledge products (policy briefs, blogs, infographics, white papers).
- Support external engagement with government, private sector, and civil society through evidence-based advocacy.
- Represent the organization in national and international conferences, webinars, and policy dialogues.
Capacity Building
- Work closely with the program, PMEL and communication teams to ensure a cohesive approach to program implementation and reporting.
- Enhance the analytical and strategic capacity of country-level program, and PMEL and communication teams, empowering them for strategic reflection and adaptive management.
- Develop and deliver training to internal staff and external partners on PMEL methodologies, data integrity, and evidence-based storytelling.
- Establish a learning culture by designing and facilitating regular learning sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing forums across the organization.
