Responsibilities & Context
- The “Resilient Futures for Rohingya Communities” project in Rohingya Community aims to contribute skills development in market-driven trades and increase livelihood capabilities, market promotion and linkage, as well as sustainable knowledge transfer among the Camp communities.
- The project intervention aims to: 1.Facilitate Rohingya refugees to gain transferable skills, increase household income, and reduce reliance on external support. 2. Strengthen the protection and resilience capacity of the Rohingya community.The Knowledge Management, Communication, and Support Officer will be responsible for systematically capturing, organizing, and sharing project knowledge to enhance program effectiveness. This includes developing and implementing knowledge management strategies, communication plans, and documentation systems. The role focuses on:·
- Knowledge Management: Design and implement systems to capture, organize, and share best practices, lessons learned, and success stories from project interventions. Develop knowledge products that support skills development and market linkage initiatives.·
- Communication: Create and manage strategic communications to engage stakeholders, document project impact, and facilitate knowledge transfer within camp communities. Develop targeted communication materials for different audiences.·
- Monitoring & Documentation: Support the implementation of monitoring systems to track project progress, maintain comprehensive project documentation, and ensure proper record keeping. This includes developing M&E tools, conducting field visits, and managing feedback mechanisms.
- Additionally, the position will facilitate learning exchanges between stakeholders, document innovative approaches in skills development and market linkages, and ensure that project learnings are effectively captured and utilized for continuous improvement. The role requires close collaboration with project teams to document and communicate impact stories, maintain knowledge repositories, and support evidence-based decision-making through effective information management and sharing.·
