Responsibilities & Context
Key Responsibilities
- Sample Management: Prepare, label, organize, and process test samples or specimens for testing and research.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean, sterilize, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results and a safe working environment.
- Inventory Tracking: Monitor and order lab supplies, reagents, and materials so that researchers have exactly what they need.
- Data Logging: Record experimental data, update databases, and prepare summary reports for senior lab personnel.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow strict biohazard, chemical hygiene, and regulatory safety procedures, including proper waste disposal.
