We are now seeking a motivated and skilled Lab Assistant (CSE Lab) to join our team and support our mission of academic excellence.
- Major Job responsibilities are assisting course teachers during lab classes, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- You will ensure the operation of the computers and the network, supervision of lab equipment and facilities, keeping records of equipment and lab supplies, and maintaining the security of the lab.
- You will be responsible for the cleanliness of the lab to ensure safety and proper working conditions for the lab users and proper maintenance of the computers. You will also proper support to the faculty members and students for using the computers. Keep ready to solve any computer or network related problems of faculty members and students.
- Always prepared for running the lab support independently and to serve computer-related problems of the students promptly with the consultation of the chairperson of the respective department.
- Ensuring the best technical support (hardware and software-related items) to students.
- Installation, repairing, troubleshooting, configuring and maintaining computers, printers, UPS, multimedia projectors, or other Lab equipment.
- Report to the respective Dean of faculty and chairperson of the department from time to time about the overall status of the concerned lab(s) and other computer of E & T faculty.
- Provide technical support during different events of the department.
- Maintaining and updating relevant IT inventory of the department.
- Check user activities on PCs; notifying the authorities about suspicious use of PC or other devious in the lab; ensure that lab item is not misused/abused.
- Your primary responsibility is to oversee and maintain the software laboratory within the Computer Science and Engineering Department.
- Perform any other job/takes as assigned by the higher authority of the EU.
