Responsibilities & Context
Responsibilities & Context:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pathology laboratory, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory staff, including training and mentorship.
- Perform complex laboratory procedures and analyses, such as histopathology, cytology, and immunohistochemistry.
- Interpret laboratory results and provide accurate and timely diagnoses to clinicians.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring its optimal performance.
- Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in research activities and contribute to the development of new laboratory techniques.
