Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture

• BScAg (Hons) with MS in Crop Botany/MS in Biotechnology

Experience

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Additional Requirements

• Age 35 to 45 years

• Proven track records are required to operate the tissue culture lab.
• Hands-on experiences in potato seed production and good networking capacity.

Responsibilities & Context

• Day to Day Operation of Tissue Culture Lab.
• Explant Selection & Meristem Culture.
• Ensure high-quality and disease-free plantlet production.
• Contamination protection and ensuring good laboratory practice.
• Execute and implement potato and banana breeding materials and establish them for further propagation.
• Plantlet hardening and safe transportation to the production field.
• Maintain liaison with concerned authorities of government and non-government authorities.
