Responsibilities & Context
- Review and draft complex contracts related to defence procurement and government tenders
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh’s defence procurement laws and regulations
- Provide legal advice on international trade regulations and export control laws
- Assist in negotiations with international manufacturers and government agencies
- Manage legal risks associated with defence and security-related transactions
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments in defence procurement and international trade
- Liaise with government bodies such as DGDP, BOF, and various law enforcement agencies
- Provide legal support for a wide range of products including vehicles, arms & ammunition, security & surveillance equipment, and more
