Additional Requirements

• Age 36 to 45 years

• Minimum 08 years of total experience in power plant operations and maintenance with at least 05 years in a leadership role.

• Applicants must have extensive experience in the power plant sector, particularly in HFO power plants. MAN 18V48/60TS and BERGEN B32:40V16AH will be an added advantage.  

• Strong knowledge of HFO power plant operations, processes and equipment.

• Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills.

• Willingness to travel regularly to sites outside Dhaka.

Responsibilities & Context

• Problem solving of various electrical problem of power plant.
• Lead and motivate teams with high energy and passion.
• Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a commitment to shared leadership.
• Oversee and manage the operation and maintenance of all power plants operated by X Index Energy Limited across various locations in Bangladesh.
• Ensure smooth operations by providing proper guidelines, spare parts, and technical support.
• Maintain effective support from OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
• Lead and manage both power plant and electrical teams.
• Plan and execute yearly capacity and heat rate tests as per agreements.
• Review and monitor regular reports from plants and prepare periodical reports and other necessary documentation.
• Develop, maintain, and update O&M (Operation and Maintenance) procedures for all machinery and equipment.
• Address operational issues raised by Plant Managers, providing guidance and engaging in discussions.
• Provide training, guidance and performance feedback to ensure high skill levels and safety compliance.
• Supervise and troubleshoot electrical system and power plant operational issues.
• Oversee operational and electrical maintenance for power plant machinery and equipment.
• Supervise installation and commissioning of new machinery, equipment and plant infrastructure.
• Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for proper electrical system setup and integration.
• Monitor the overall electrical health of the plants, addressing potential risks proactively.
• Ensure optimal efficiency and performance of all machineries in the power plants.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime.
• Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering to incorporate modern practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all power plant operations.
• Collaborate with vendors to minimize equipment downtime, reduce maintenance costs, and improve machine efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections for auditing purposes.
• Regularly communicate with senior management to provide updates on performance, issues, and upcoming needs.
• Be open to frequent site visits outside Dhaka.
