Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering

Experience

• At least 7 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies, Food (Packaged), E-commerce

Additional Requirements

Experience:

• Proven track record with NestJS and React in production environments
• Experience with Python for backend or other applications
• Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database design

Skills:

• Strong understanding of software design patterns and architecture
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience with RESTful API design, GraphQL is a plus
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically

Leadership & Soft Skills:

• Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills with a track record of delivering projects on time

Nice to Have:

• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with big data technologies or machine learning frameworks
• Contributions to open source projects related to NestJS, React, or PostgreSQL

Responsibilities & Context

• Leading, mentoring, and guiding a team of software engineers, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices
• Designing scalable and robust software architectures using NestJS and React, ensuring seamless integration with PostgreSQL databases
• Overseeing project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation
• Ensuring the team meets its objectives and deadlines while maintaining high standards of code quality
• Developing core components of the application using NestJS for backend services, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and maintainable
• Utilizing React to create dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly front-end applications
• Employing Python for scripts, data processing, or additional backend layers where necessary
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing database schemas in PostgreSQL
• Ensuring data integrity, security, and performance
• Conducting regular code reviews to foster best practices, ensure code quality, and maintain code consistency across projects
• Staying updated with the latest industry trends in technology like AI, machine learning, or blockchain to potentially integrate into our systems
• Working closely with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and ensure the product vision is realized
• Tackling complex technical challenges, resolve critical issues, and make decisions that impact the overall system design and functionality
