Responsibilities & Context
- Oversee and manage database systems, ensuring their efficiency, security, and reliability.
- Prepare comprehensive support for Oracle E-Business Suite, addressing issues at both Layer 1 and Layer 2 levels.
- Ensure proper Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Service Level Management (SLM) standards are adhered to throughout system development and documentation processes.
- Design and develop robust database systems to ensure high availability, performance, and quality.
- Continuously monitor and optimize database performance, implement necessary changes, and apply new patches and versions as required.
