Job Summary: The Lecturer plays a critical role in overseeing educational programs, faculty, and student performance within the institution. Working closely with faculty members, the Lecturer enhances the curriculum and ensures academic standards are consistently met. The role also involves administrative duties, addressing student concerns, and driving continuous improvements in educational delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with line managers to enhance curriculum and ensure academic standards are met.
- Familiarize with framework documents, syllabi, and materials to plan program delivery and develop the Academic Calendar and Timetable.
- Plan and oversee teaching delivery, induct and train faculty, and prepare resources to support staff.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of teaching and learning, developing quality plans and managing audits.Plan and deliver assessments, train invigilators, and ensure exams comply with NCUK standards.
- Uphold academic integrity through training on referencing, enforcing misconduct policies, and reporting incidents.
- Monitor student performance and feedback, provide support to underperforming students, and communicate with students and parents.
- Coordinate with counselors and placement officers to ensure realistic and achievable university applications.
- Teach a minimum of two subjects from the available module list.
