Responsibilities & Context

The Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Kumudini Nursing College, is a full-time regular position and based at Mirzapur, Tangail.

Responsibilities & Context :

  • Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students to the highest professional standards.
  • Evaluate and record the student’s level of performance based on course objectives.
  • Evaluate and grade student’s classwork, laboratory and clinical activities, assignments, and course work.
  • Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.Participation in student recruitment, registration, and placement activities.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and conferences.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
  • Provide service on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
  • Supervise a group of nursing students in a variety of clinical training rotations, facilitating their participation in care and treatments, counseling and evaluating student performance.
  • Communicate clearly and directly to students, clinical site staff and other coordinating professionals to ensure that training and expectations are understood by all involved.
  •  Teach procedures and care protocols during clinical rotations including proper medical documentation and coordinate with the clinical site to schedule nursing students to shifts.
  • Maintaining a good rapport with students, their families, Nursing College and good relations with Kumudini management for better services.
  • Provide academic advising to students regarding their progress, career goals, and professional development.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting ethical practice and professional behavior.
  • Act as a role model for aspiring nurses and address students’ professional career concerns
