Responsibilities & Context
The Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor of Kumudini Nursing College, is a full-time regular position and based at Mirzapur, Tangail.
Responsibilities & Context :
- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students to the highest professional standards.
- Evaluate and record the student’s level of performance based on course objectives.
- Evaluate and grade student’s classwork, laboratory and clinical activities, assignments, and course work.
- Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.Participation in student recruitment, registration, and placement activities.
- Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and conferences.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.
- Provide service on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.
- Supervise a group of nursing students in a variety of clinical training rotations, facilitating their participation in care and treatments, counseling and evaluating student performance.
- Communicate clearly and directly to students, clinical site staff and other coordinating professionals to ensure that training and expectations are understood by all involved.
- Teach procedures and care protocols during clinical rotations including proper medical documentation and coordinate with the clinical site to schedule nursing students to shifts.
- Maintaining a good rapport with students, their families, Nursing College and good relations with Kumudini management for better services.
- Provide academic advising to students regarding their progress, career goals, and professional development.
- Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting ethical practice and professional behavior.
- Act as a role model for aspiring nurses and address students’ professional career concerns
