Requirements
Education
- Candidates must possess a M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics.
Additional Requirements
- Three years of experience and at least two publications are required for the Assistant Professor position.
- Demonstrated interest and proficiency in teaching, research, and scholarly activities.
- Preference will be given to candidates with PhD and prior research experience.
- Candidates with participation or mentoring experience in national/international Math Olympiads/competitions will be given additional consideration.
Responsibilities & Context
Responsibilities & Context:
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
- Maintaining course documentation required for accreditation bodies such as BAC, BAETE, etc
- Initiate and lead mathematics-related clubs/societies and organize mathematical competitions, seminars, and workshops to foster academic engagement and student growth
- Fulfilling administrative duties as assigned by the department/university.
