Summary

Education

Must hold a 4-year B. Pharm (Hon’s) and M. Pharm or 05-year B. Pharm degree with a CGPA of a minimum of 3.50 (out of 4.00) at B. Pharm or M. Pharm levels.
Preference will be given to candidates with an MPhil/PhD in Pharmacy.
Candidates must have three First Divisions/Classes or A grades in their academic career, with a minimum GPA of 4.50 (out of 5.00) at SSC and HSC levels.
Candidates with a 3rd Class/Division or GPA/CGPA below 3.00 in any public examination need not apply.

Additional Requirements

Teaching experience in a university setting will be an added advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Deliver lectures and conduct tutorials for students in the Department of Pharmacy. This includes preparing lecture notes, creating presentations, and engaging students in interactive and practical learning sessions.
Develop course materials such as syllabus, course outlines, assignments, quizzes, and exams in coordination with other faculty members in the Department of Pharmacy.
Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including assignments, exams, quizzes, and practical lab work.
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, helping them with academic goal setting, course selection, and career guidance.· Conduct research in the field of Pharmacy and publish research papers in repeated journals.
Participate in collaborative research projects within the department and with external institutions or industry partners.
Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Pharmacy by attending conferences, workshops, and training programs.
Build industry connections to establish partnerships that can provide students with internship and employment opportunities.
Maintain high academic standards in teaching, research, and service, while adhering to the university’s policies and procedures.
Assist in administrative tasks within the department, such as student recruitment, curriculum development, accreditation activities, and overall departmental management.
