Education

Bachelor of Law (LLB)

Experience

At least 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

Additional Requirements

Solid Court/chamber practices experience 3-5 years.

In-house counsels from Banks Legal Division will get preference.

Membership of a Bangladesh Bar Council and a District Bar is a must.

Highly skilled in Computer operation including MS Word and Excel is a must.

Sound typing skill in both Bengali and English are a must.

Responsibilities & Context

Scrutinizing the credit related property documents and provide legal opinion before disbursement.

Identifying lapses, forwarding of the observations with wanting documents to Branches and concern Division/ Department of the bank.

To contact with the external counsels and attend their chambers on behalf of the bank regarding legal opinion, referred matters etc.

Conduct searching of the authenticity/legality of title documents in the concerned govt. office, like Sub-Registrar/AC (Land) office.

Maintain and update database of the documentation files and generate report as per the requirement of the management of the bank. 

Maintaining liaison with panel lawyers and other stakeholders.

Any other task assigned by the authority for the interest of the Bank.
