Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering

Experience

    • 5 to 7 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service, ISP

Additional Requirements

Strong experience with administration of Linux servers (Debian, Fedora, CentOS, Ubuntu, or similar).

Hands-on knowledge of open-source monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Cacti.

Proven skills in managing Postfix mail servers and BIND DNS.

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.

Proficiency with shell scripting and basic automation.

Experience with system security best practices.

Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues effectively.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Previous exposure to network device management and monitoring.

Experience with virtualization (e.g., Proxmox, esxi) preferred

Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible preffered

Knowledge of Python scripting for automation preferred


Responsibilities & Context

Administer and monitor Linux servers across multiple distributions.

Deploy, configure, and maintain network monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Cacti.

Manage and troubleshoot mail services, DNS, web host control panel,

Manage virtualization platform like Poxmox, Vmware ESXi

Ensure server security, perform regular updates, patch management, and backups.

Monitor system performance and optimize for availability and reliability.

Automate routine tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).

Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to support services.

Respond to and troubleshoot system and network issues promptly.
