JOB CONTEXT:

A reputed buying house is seeking a Logistics professional to manage and streamline all shipment and freight forwarding operations. The role involves coordinating with freight forwarders to ensure efficient handling of air, sea, and land shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and overseeing customs clearance. The Logistics professional will also manage buyer portals, ensuring timely updates and compliance with system requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Freight Forwarding Coordination

Manage relationships with freight forwarders for efficient shipment handling.
Ensure accurate documentation for air, sea, and land freight.
Track shipments and update stakeholders on real-time status.
Handle customs clearance and coordinate with relevant authorities.

Buyer Portal Management

Maintain and update buyer portals with shipment details.
Upload necessary shipping documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists, BL, AWB).
Track and respond to buyer queries or system-generated notifications.
Ensure compliance with buyer portal requirements for order processing.

Shipment & Delivery Management

Plan and schedule shipments based on buyer requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers and factories to ensure timely dispatch.
