• 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in steel fabrication or PEB industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machines, welding systems, overhead cranes, compressors, and electrical panels.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with safety procedures, lockout/tagout systems, and permit-to-work processes.
• Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and maintenance management systems

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all plant machinery, equipment, and utilities within the prefabricated steel building manufacturing facility. This includes preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance of fabrication equipment such as cutting machines, welding machines, cranes, compressors, and other plant utilities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and carry out timely repairs to minimize production delays.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all critical equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during maintenance work.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to plan maintenance without disrupting operations.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery or equipment.
• Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors as required.
• Report critical equipment failures and provide recommendations for long-term solutions.
